I don’t about you guys, but one thing about me? I love Kanye West and his music without forgetting his other craft. I discovered “Closed on Sunday” when I was creating a sunday playlist and i’ve been hooked ever since. I love how it opens up with a melodic guitar string sound and humming from the choir and Kanye pierces through that with his often times controversial lyrics.

In the chorus, Kanye implies to the famous, Christian-owned fast food chain, Chick-fil-A on the first two lines which also speaks to an important concept in Christianity. While Saturday is technically the Sabbath in Judaism, Sunday is considered to be a holy day of rest for most Christians.
