Adidas and South African luxury designer Thebe Magugu collaborate for the second presentation of their FW22 collection. The classic Bird of Paradise Plant print is brought to life in a vibrant palette of graphic accents for this drop, which is inspired by the idea of unrestricted joy and freedom that celebrates his heritage, upbringing, and identity. The line includes workout, yoga, and lifestyle clothing as well as remixes of enduring Adidas shoe designs including the NMD R1, Nizza Platform, and Forum shoes.
The pieces combine Adidas performance technology with design elements from Thebe Magugu’s Bird of Paradise print. continuing to reflect Adidas’s commitment to mindfully constructing performance materials. Hero designs and pieces have also been manufactured in part with recycled materials, just one of the innovations that show our desire to help reduce plastic waste.
For the second drop of my collection with adidas, I focused on finding beauty in the everyday.
