Asics World: 3rd Andersson Bell and Asics Footwear Series

Andersson Bell is a brand that was launched in Seoul back in 2014 by a creative director who is said to have gotten the inspiration from contrasting two different cultures of Korea and Scandinavia. Andersson Bell and Asics have had a steady and creatively enticing relationship for a while now. The first collaboration was the Andersson Bell x Asics Gel 1090 with hiking-inspired sensibility, followed by the Andersson Bell x Asics HN2-S Protoblast.

Now this duo is bringing us their latest offering, the Introduction of the mystical “Asics World.” This collection draws inspiration from a fictional mystical world – offering three mystical illustrations that offer a glimpse into the lore of “Asics World” — a place “far, far away” full of unique flowers and animals. The previous collection unlike this one drew inspiration from three classic movies including Batman.

Have you ever imagined an island where rare and mystical horned animals live deep inside? Have you ever fancied these animals living in harmony with humans? Across the sea, beyond the clouds, far, far away, there is a country no one knows. It’s so secluded that it’s not even listed in any books or maps. The place is called ‘Asics World’. I live in this world, full of unique and different flowers and animals.

The Asics collaborative collection with Andersson Bell will be released on the 29th of October at Gyeongbokgung Store, this release will feature apparel and shoes. The other release will be at The Hyundai Seoul Store and they will only be selling shoes. You can also get your hands on this collection on the Andersson bell Online site release on Oct 31st at 12:00 PM (KST).
