Azanti Announces His Debut Album – “Heart Parts & Nostalgia”

Nathan Ayomikun Otekalu-Aje, known musically as Azanti, is a Nigerian emerging artist described as a prodigy with extraordinary skill. While Azanti stays true to his way of making music, delivering R&B songs with a touch of Afropop, he also explores other soundscapes that straddle Hip Hop, Afro Beats, and Trap Soul, Azanti draws inspiration from artists like PartyNextDoor, Drake, WizKid, Bryson Tiller, Travis Scott, Wande Coal, Chris Brown, Usher, and Chronixx… but interestingly sounds like Una Rams.

In his self-titled first EP, “AZANTI,” an 8-track body of work Azanti vividly displayed his experiences of being a Nigerian Gen Z attempting to make sense of the modern world and trying to find his footing. He has now announced his forthcoming debut album titled Heart Parts & Nostalgia. This body of work is about the reflective season and it’s set to be released in four days.

After the release of ‘late4dinner’ which I believe is the first official single off the album, it is safe to say the future of R&B in Nigeria sure looks bright with Azanti amongst the other leading artists. You can pre-add Heart Parts & Nostalgia on all music streaming platforms.
