Banele Khoza First Solo Exhibition In Paris Opens Up In Two Days

Banele Khoza is a Swaziland-born and South African-based visual artist but dabbles into curating as well with Nicole Siegenthaler of Art Joburg: Gallery Lab. Khoza has had quite a number of solo exhibitions and some the exhibitions include; Temporary Feelings at the Pretoria Art Museum (2016); Lonely Nights at Lizamore Gallery(2017) LOVE? at Smith Studio in Cape Town (2018). Khoza also headlined the solo exhibition titled LGBTQI+: Banele Khoza as part of the Curatorial Lab at Zeitz MOCAA (2018).
Fast forward to 2022 and Khoza has announced yet another solo exhibition which is going to be his first solo exhibition in Paris, France. The exhibition is titled, ”BE-PRESSION” and it will open up at 2PM on the 18th of June 2022 and it will run until the 28th of June 2022 in Nil Gallery located in Paris.
BE-PRESSION – a state linked to the phobia/awareness of the present moment. Torn between nostalgia or the will to believe in better days, it is the blur of Y/Z generation that Banele Khoza highlights through his vaporous studies.
