“Champion Music II” Drops This Friday

SA Hip Hop fans will no doubt be ecstatic at the announcement of Champion Music II dropping this Friday. For those who are not in the loop, Champion Music was a collaborative effort between Sliqe, 25K and Maglera Doe Boy, released in March of 2020. The EP included a hit in “Fresh Take” featuring the recently retired Zingah, and the EP was viewed as a welcomed addition to the catalogue of street-influenced brand of Hip-Hop in the country.

The streets is coming together again, this time with guest appearances from Never Ride hitmaker Mashbeatz, and Blxckie. The group of rappers and producers released images on social media with them holding trophies and medals, further speaking to the title of the EP. Something about seeing all 5 of them together in one photo feels like this could be a ‘moment’ in the Hip-Hop industry.
