If there is a person who sticks in their lane, minding their business, making money while touring the world it has to be Costa Titch. Breaking out into the industry as a hip-hop artist with a background of being a hip-hop dance for the artist of the decade, Cassper Nyovest, 2019 saw Nkalakatha being Costa Titch’s breakout single, which then got the honourable features from AKA and the late hip-hop icon Riky Rick on the remix.
In October 2020, Costa Titch released his debut hip-hop album Made In Africa and got the pleasure of working with AKA and Riky Rick once again, also getting the opportunity to feature the likes of Sjava, DJ Maphorisa, 25K, YoungstaCPT, Tshego, Frank Casino and Rouge.
2021 is the year that saw Costa Titch transition to amapiano, which was and undeniable wave, and this is where fans/supporters would see Costa Titch peak!
Released on the 3rd of December 2021, Big Flexa turned out to be Costa Titch’s biggest song in his music career, which received recognition widespread. Almost a year later and the numbers across the streaming platforms are unbelievable and impressive considering it being from a South African act.
Titch’s Big Flexa music video is now sitting comfortably at 34 million views on YouTube! This has been done over 11 months, and is currently the most viewed music video from a South African artist. A few days ago, Titch shared his gratitude with his fans as he announced that his single, Big Flexa has now been certified 4 times platinum and his newly released EP, “Mr Big Flexa” has now reached gold within two weeks of its release.
