Musical artist from the Vaal, Sebokeng, Espiquet broke his silence in December when he released his newest project offering dubbed, Crazy How Time Flies since his 2 year hiatus.
Espiquet is known for dropping in December, and the December of 2022 was no different. On this 3-tracker EP, Espiquet is extremely self-reflective and finally speaks on the death of his OG, Riky Rick, who impacted his life greatly in 2018 by co-signing him on the “Outside Remix”.
On ‘Rather Put It In A Song’, Espiquet uses a mellow beat which allows him to talk and be his reflective self while using snippets of Riky Rick’s interview with Yanga Chief of 2021, where he spoke on depression.
‘I Ain’t Safe’, Espiquet displays versatility and this is where we hear him singing for the first time.
‘Sorry 4 This II’, Espiquet reminds us how smooth and groovy he can get on a hip-hop/drill beat, as he slides with ease with an infectious flow.
