Dami Oniru is a Nigerian recording R&B/Soul artist, songwriter, and producer born in the United States, Atlanta Georgia but raised in between her home country Lagos, Nigeria and back where she was born in Atlanta. Dami erupted her music career in 2016, but her first full-on project titled Bri’s Lounge was released in 2019. She believes that this project scaled down her African-inspired influences and allowed her to focus more heavily on R&B.
Dami has now released a new project titled Matter of Time, a six-song collection that carries on highlighting the seamless musical connection she shares with Remy Baggins a Nigerian producer, rapper and singer extraordinaire. The third song off the EP ‘Soft Life’ was used to promote the EP, the song entails the power of money and how it erases every tension in her life. The EP is a beautifully written and compilation of Dami’s good and bad emotions.
