Joshua Oheneba-Takyi Takes Us on a Ride to Creccents

Joshua Oheneba-Takyi is a Ghanaian visual artist born in Kumasi and based in Accra. Being from a traditional Ghanaian family, it comes as no shock that Joshua learned the practice of mixing paints and painting on canvas on his own and through contemporaries.

He joined creative forces with fellow Ghanaian creators namely, filmmaker and cinematographer Solomon Kwesi Glover Aflakpui, Caleb Oheneba-Takyi, Clifford Abu-Bright and Kwaku Owusu Achim to bring us a short film about Joshua and his artistry.

This short film focuses on his making and thought processes. We get to hear about the significance of the repetitive use of chairs in his artworks. you can watch the full short film on IGTV.
