KiDi’s “Touch It” Goes Platinum In India

Originally released on the 5th of May, Ghanaian artist KiDi has seen the meteoric rise in the popularity of his single, “Touch It”. Despite being a little over a month old, the single has amassed over 40 million streams on Spotify alone and has officially gone platinum in India.

Listening to the amount of eastern influences on the song, it comes as no surprise to find that “Touch It” is a hit amongst Indian audiences. Capitalising on the success of the song, KiDi called on Tyga to assist with vocal duties on the remix to further steamroll the momentum the song has created for the Ghanaian native.
