Mowalola Ogunlesi known as just Mowalola is a Nigerian-born fashion designer and singer working and living in London. She is known for working with a wide diversification of textiles such as leather and PVC to produce non-traditional silhouettes inspired by Nigerian and London youth culture. She is also known for designing uniforms for Nigeria’s World Cup team for Nike, Outfits for Skepta’s ‘Pure Water’ video and for being the design director of the Gap x Weezy.
Mowalola has now announced her newest collaboration following the other recent one with New Balance – New Balance X Mowalola 9060. The new collaboration is with the Bratz doll, she created. an exceptional limited-edition fashion looks for the Bratz dolls. The two dolls named Jade and Felicia can be purchased exclusively. This forms part of the Bratz 21st anniversary and celebrates the brand’s longevity.
