MSCHF Releases a Backward Sneaker Titled “BWD”

MSCHF does a good job at staying relevant, and this time they have done so by creating a shoe that you can wear however you like, as a sneaker sandal or a very weird look sneaker that has your toes out. It is clear to say the Brooklyn-based art collective has no limits to their creativity limits they have done things that almost feel like a social experiment.
The BWD’s upper is primarily made of white leather, with a red suede heel counter and a grey stripe at the midfoot. The normal shoe lacing system is still visible at the midfoot, but there are holes in the toe box and ankle collar enabling wearers to insert their feet. The sneaker also has a black midsole with speckles and “MSCHF” branding on the heel. A gum rubber outsole and a brown to complete the appearance.
The shoe is rumoured to be released on the 11th of April 2023. Look at the full collection below:
