Nasty C’s “Strings and Bling” Turns Four Today

Four years ago, South African rapper, songwriter, and record producer Nasty C released his second studio album titled Strings and Bling, it was released under the Universal Music label. Strings and Bling has a total of 17 songs before its release three singles from the body of work were released. It made waves across the country and outside the borders of our region which resulted in it winning “Best Hip Hop album” and “Best produced album” at the 25th South African Music Awards.

The album featured only three artists, New York rapper and member of A$AP Mob – A$AP Ferg, Rowlene and Kaien cruz. Ferg is featured on “Jungle” the third song on the album. Since its release Strings and Blings has attained quite a lot. It has been certified double platinum and all 17 tracks on the album are certified either gold, platinum, double or triple platinum.
