Simon Porte Jacquemus is a French designer and the owner Of the infamous JAQCUEMUS luxurious brand. JAQCUEMUS has now collaborated with Nike for both clothing and footwear that will only be available starting on the 28th of June 2022, which is next week Tuesday. This collaboration also forms part of Nike’s 50th Anniversary. “I have always been inspired by vintage ACG pieces and Nike campaigns from the 90s. Having this imagery in mind, we designed women’s athletic wear with sensuous details and neutral colours” said Simon.
The collaborative collection is said to be going to feature a number of vintage-style pieces, with the old-school windbreaker and classic athletic tennis dresses as seen in the sneak peek images on Instagram. Unlike the signature use of fun and bright colours on JAQCUEMUS collections, this one is going to have natural colours, which include browns, reds and whites.
This collaboration also includes footwear that will be the first collaborative shoe released by Nike and JAQCUEMUS, My First Nike. The Jacquemus x Nike Air Humara LX is described as a hybrid model of sorts that blends the Nike Air Humara and the ACG Pocket Knife and it comes in multiple natural colourways. Key elements and inspirations of this collaborative collection are; movement, sensuality, outdoors, mini swooshes, nature and Nike ACG as seen on the moodboard.
The full JACQUEMUS x Nike collection will be out on 28th of June exclusively on jacquemus.com followed by a launch at selected Nike retailers later in the summer.
