PUMA launches a PRIDE collection that boldly celebrates diversity and pride

PUMA celebrates the PRIDE community with a series of programs on its REFORM platform, this aims to remove prejudices and make sure that everyone who wants to play can play, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, sexuality, or background.
A new product range that honours PRIDE has been unveiled by PUMA as part of its dedication to diversity. The 2023 PRIDE collection demonstrates PUMA’s commitment to advancing advocacy, education, and inclusivity while also showing its support for the LGBTQ+ community.
In support of the 1960s gay liberation movement’s aesthetics, PUMA has developed a unique mosaic pattern with a handmade appearance and feel that incorporates grassroots iconography and symbolism. The laces, tongue, heel, and collar of the low-top version of the classic PUMA Suede are likewise updated with the same pattern. Items like the Downtown PRIDE Tee and Downtown PRIDE Shorts feature the resulting Downtown PRIDE design. The Downtown PRIDE pattern also features the accessories like the bucket hat, tote bag, and multi-pouch.
To expand its dedication to activism and education, PUMA has teamed up with The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ+ young people. Together, they developed the #REFORMTheLockerRoom curriculum, a free online training program that teaches coaches, athletic directors, and other sports leaders about the importance of respecting and valuing diversity.
PUMA aims to amplify the voices and rights of the queer community. The partnership shows PUMA’s commitment to promoting diversity and equality. Recognising the importance of creating a safe and inclusive environment, for the fourth time.
The PRIDE collection is currently available on PUMA.com and selected items are available at Archive and Superbalist. Take a look at the collection below:
