Davido was announced as Puma’s brand ambassador in sub-Saharan Africa, North America and across the world a year ago. This ambassadorship also serves as him being a cultural ambassador for Nigeria as well as the prominent voice for human rights on the continent. “We could not be more excited to welcome Davido to the PUMA family!” said Johan Kuhlo, PUMA’s General Manager EEMEA Distribution.
Fast forward to 2022 August, Davido collaborated with Puma on a collection titled ‘Between The Lines’ which is a collection that features apparel and accessories with classic silhouettes paired with modern graphics for a contemporary look. According to PUMA, the ‘Between the Lines’ collection is one of the brand’s answers to reduce our environmental impact, because the collection is produced with recycled fibres.
I also saw the kind of family PUMA had built with the likes of Usain Bolt, Maradona, Neymar, Jay Z, Nipsey, Rihanna, Lewis Hamilton among other super stars and I thought, that’s an amazing family to be a part of! All these contribute to my excitement to collaborate with this brand and take it to the next level in Nigeria, Africa as well as with fans across the world.

Now Puma, a brand German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories took to social media to tease their new collaboration with Nigerian-American singer, songwriter and record producer Davido.
