Rihanna Is Making a Comeback
Yes, it’s not fake news! After waiting for over six years for Rihanna to release new music, the wait is finally over as she is set to release a new song that will be a part of the Black Panther: Wakanda. Forever soundtrack album. It may not be a whole Rihanna body of work, but it’s something we should be grateful for. The song is titled ‘Lift Me Up’ and its official release date is the 28th of October 2022.
The movie is coming out on the 04th of November 2022. It is reported that Rihanna, Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems, Ludwig Göransson and Ryan Coogler wrote this song as a tribute to Chadwick Boseman, who starred in the first Black Panther and unfortunately passed in August 2020 due to complications from colon cancer. Rihanna’s label Westbury Road is releasing “Lift Me Up” this Friday in partnership with Roc Nation, Def Jam, and Hollywood Records
