Samthing Soweto has been on a musical hiatus since releasing his 2020 DANKO! EP, but fret not as he has announced that he will be releasing a single titled “Amagents” this Friday. There have been unofficial snippets of the song hovering online over the last 2 months, so naturally, they were overjoyed when he took to social media to share the news.

The song sees Samthing Soweto rekindle some of the magic he brought into the music industry on his 2019 album, Isphithiphithi. From the onset, the song carries heavy influences of Afropop which are in contrast to the more Amapiano influenced Danko!, and his gentle melodies sit perfectly afloat the production. This single is looking to be – and we use the term loosely- somewhat of a comeback for the talented vocalist. We would share the snippet that is currently making rounds online, but it isn’t the official version. However, it shouldn’t too prove difficult to find.
