Tems Bagged A Soul Train Award

The Nigerian musical powerhouse Tems has been unwaveringly rewriting the rules of how one becomes a global superstar, she keeps setting the bar higher and higher. She has just been announced as the winner of the “Best New Artist” at the 2022 BET Soul Train Awards. With all the accolades she has been attaining God really is her A&R.
The BET Soul Train Awards are transcribed as a platform that spotlights the biggest names in Black culture and honours the legendary singers of soul music and it’s no different for Tems as she has become one of the biggest names in Black culture. She was nominated alongside fellow Nigerian artists; ‘Love Nwantiti (ah ah ah)’ hitmaker CKay & Fireboy DML, Doechii, Steve Lacy, Muni Long, Dixson and Coco Jones. Tems was also nominated for the “Best R&B/Soul Female Artist” award that got awarded to Beyoncé.
