Patta joined forces with Nike Air Max 1 a year ago to create a collection of “The Wave”, which originally came out in three colourways; Monarch, Aqua Blue, Rush Maroon then followed by a fourth colourway, the White-Black Coconut Milk. Now the latest & fifth colourway got released in a Dark Russet/Dark Russet-Metallic Silver colourway.
This new Nike Air Max 1 x Patta drop is a part of Patta and Nike’s global campaign “EACH ONE, TEACH ONE.” Patta defines it as, the latest chapter following the classic Air Max 1 silhouette and the now iconic wave pattern, along with Patta’s signature logo on the tongue and sock liner in two new colourways. “The Next Wave” is inspired by the African proverb “Each One Teach One” and Patta’s unrelenting vision to create a connected, and prosperous Patta community around the world.
The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 comes in this Metallic Silver colourway with a new, reimagined leather ‘wave’ mudguard overlay in Dark Russet, as well as Dark Russet overlays throughout. The Patta x Nike AM1 sees tonal Nike Air branding on the heel, while a mini swoosh embroidered on the mudguard adds a final subtle twist to this cult classic silhouette which is widely regarded as the signature shoe of Amsterdam
