Nigerian artists don’t shy away from collaborating with each other and I’m all for that. The latest collaborative offering comes from the self-proclaimed princess of afrobeat Tiwatope Savage, known popularly as Tiwa Savage a Nigerian-born singer and songwriter who is known for her alluring afrobeat-infused R&B sound and Mr. Money with the Vibe, Asake. They have collaborated on a song titled ‘Loaded’ which features different genre elements; R&B, Hip-hop, amapiano, alté and afrobeat.
In the song, Tiwa savage gets to vent and address the scandalous leak of her sex tape which caused a public uproar. “Sex tape o’le baye mi je, igbadun kekere yen, Na who never f*&k, hands in the air” she sings which translates to “Sex tape o’le baye mi je” translates into ‘sex tape can’t spoil my life” in English. The song was released with its official music video directed by TG Omori, a renowned Nigerian music video director and cinematographer. Watch the music video and listen to the song below.
