Travis scott Collaborates With Nike Again For The “Cactus Jack Nike Airmax 1”

Rapper and producer, Travis Scott has had a long standing relationship with Nike and the Jordan brand for approximately four years now and his name has been predominantly featured in the sneaker industry. Scott has had collaboration after another which sells as fast as hotcakes. From his industry’s most hyped sneaker, the Nike SB Dunk low with black bandana features to the Cactus Jack Air Jordan 1 Retro High, the Cactus Jack Air Jordan 4 and now to this newly released Cactus Jack Air Max 1.

The Cactus Jack Air Max 1 was first teased on Air Max Day 2021 and Scott’s first take on the original visible Air-cushioned silhouette was initially scheduled to drop in Autumn (Spring in South Africa) of last year, but after tragic events of the Astroworld Festival 2021 they suspended the drop and the future of this relationship between La Flame and NIKE, Inc. was uncertain.

The Cactus Jack Nike Air Max 1s come in a variety of colourways which include; “Baroque Brown”, “Wheat”, “Cave Stone” and “Saturn Gold” and are finally set to be released this coming Friday the 27th of May 2022. All colourways will retail for $150 (R2 336,30). Each pair comes constructed with a mesh upper and nubuck overlays. Additional details include a rubberized Cactus Jack tongue logo and a custom CACT.US CORP outsole, and while the lateral side displays an unmistakable reverse Swoosh, the medial side of the sneaker’s design stays true to its OG Air Max 1 roots.
