Uncle Waffles Announces New EP, “Asylum” Dropping Friday

Swaziland born and now South African based international DJ, Uncle Waffles has one of the most inspiring success stories and while she’s two years in, Waffles has done more than she could’ve imagined back in 2021 when she started taking DJ’ing classes and performing all over Swaziland at the small events.
Breaking to prominence in October of 2021, Uncle Waffles life has never been the same. From doing small shows in Swaziland earlier that year to globe trotting with her passion with the management assistance from Kreative Kornerr, Uncle Waffles is indeed the blue print and definition of anything is possible when it’s your time.
A year ago yesterday, Uncle Waffles released her debut EP, “Red Dragon” which included her hit single, “Tanzania”, and what that body of work did for her is unimaginable. On the anniversary of her debut project Uncle Waffles surprised her fans/supporters with the announcement of her next EP. The announced EP, Asylum – (an institution for the care of people who are mentally ill) will be released this Friday, the 31st of March with seven new singles including her unreleased viral internet hit single, “Yahyuppiyah”.
“1 year ago, I released my debut project, unlocking a part of me I never knew existed, vulnerability I never knew I could feel. A year later, I’m doing it again, Welcome to the Asylum.”
