Adele is a highly renowned and multi-award-winning singer and songwriter, who is loved by the masses. She is best known for her stellar writing skills, her emotionally rich music and of course her beautiful performances. She released her debut album titled 19, back in 2008 and two singles off the album, ‘Chasing Pavements’ and ‘Make You Feel My Love’ spawned the UK top-five charts. The album was certified 8x platinum in the UK and 3x platinum in the US. She was also awarded the Brit Award for Rising Star as well as the Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
Late last year Adele released her fourth studio album titled 30. This album was released on the 19th of November 2021 and became a global success, reaching number one in 24 territories. According to Wikipedia, in the UK, 30 debuted at number one on the Official Albums Chart with 261,000 copies sold, garnering the largest opening week for an album since Ed Sheeran’s Divide in 2017, and also has the highest first-week sales for an album by a female artist since Adele’s own 25, becoming the best-selling album of 2021 in the country.
She now has released an official music video for one of the songs from the album ‘I Drink Wine’ which is quite self-explanatory and it’s already on 4.6 million views in just 24 hours. Directed by Joe Talbo, the video takes us to an enchanted land where we get to see the graceful Adele with wine in her hand. Watch the video below:
