Watch: Blaqbonez New Music Video For “Back In Uni”

Akumefule Chukwu-Emeka George a.k.a Blaqbonez the young rapper who is famous for his versatile, energetic, and competitive rap style has released a new music video for his recent single that got released last week on the 7th of October 20222 titled ‘Black in Uni’. The music video aesthetic is based of references from different artist made in a fun, humorous creative way. It has quite a few video references that I managed to pick up which are Wizkid’s ‘Bad to me’ single cover, Oxlade’s ‘Ku lo so’ colours performance and Arya Star’s ‘Rush’. There were other references as well from Rugar, Buju, Portable, Carter Efe, Asake and BXBN.

Blaqbone’s craftsmanship is really shown in a creative way. The visuals are really a unique take and the vision is not hard to understand. ‘Back in Uni’ might be a single coming off his upcoming project called Young Preacher that will showcase his raw and undiluted truth, the album will be a mix of core rap, reggaetón and trap influences.
