On TikTok, people posted pictures of themself with moments from the year with a speedup version of the song. The music video is an ode to the TikTok trend as Mariah reflects on the year. Basically, Mariah took the TikTok trend and turned it into a music video.
Mariah The Scientist shows us the raw and pure sides of her life, she also shows us the busy and fun sides as well with Young Thug also making an appearance in the music video. The music video ends with college pictures full of moments. Mariah took to Twitter to share that the music video is inspired by her fans.
