Nigerian rapper and songwriter Vector joins forces with fellow Nigerian singer and songwriter Wande Coal on ‘Mama Maradona’ a single that is described as a synth-based trap with dance elements. The song was released a little over two months ago and the official music video was released a week ago. This song serves as a follow-up to his previous single ‘My Name’ and it also pays tribute to the late football legend of Argentina, Diego Maradona.
Directed by Olu The Wave, the music video is explained by Native Mag as a narrative of a lover’s mother playing an unlikely matchmaker and is explored humorously, giving a sunny levity to the musicians’ delivery.
