Wizkid Postpones The Release of His Highly Anticipated “More Love, Less Ego” Album

On the 31st of October, Wizkid announced the release of his highly anticipated album More love, less ego, but he later removed it after hearing about Davido’s son’s passing online on Monday. Wizkid is known for altering the release dates of several of his projects in the past, but now it looks like this most recent step was performed in sympathy with Davido, his colleague. The album More Love, Less Ego by Nigerian singer Wizkid won’t be released on Friday, a new date is yet to be announced.

Although no explanation for this new development was provided, many people think it was the singer’s way of expressing sympathy to Davido. Davido’s son Ifeanyi was reported to have drowned in a pool after his caregivers left him unattended. In response to his passing, the police confirmed that 8 domestic staff members were called in for interrogation. According to the most recent information, six of the people who were brought in for questioning have been discharged while two have been held back for further investigation.
