Y is arguably the biggest youth-focused radio station in the country; consistently delivering the freshest artist and names in youth culture. Earlier in the year, Y announced they would be hosting a music festival called LYFE at Carnival City. Of course, the lineup is filled with creme of the crop as far as South African talent is concerned with the likes of AKA, Sha Sha, Focalistic and many more.
In their continual pursuit of bringing the freshest in up-and-coming talent, Y has a stage called ‘About To Blow’ which features the next generation of stars including names like Filah Lah Lah, Holy Alpha, and Mars Baby. Y has now given the power to the people by giving them the opportunity to vote for who they would like to see perform at the ‘About To Blow’ stage.
